Improscar Patch Circle is a water-resistant silicone dressing used to reduce the visibility of scars after a breast augmentation and other surgeries. Each Improscar Patch covers the scar for about one week, and can also be used in the shower. Improscar Patch – Circle Ø80 mm contains patches for the treatment of circular scars, for example, after a  breast augmentation surgery or a surgery to reduce the size of large areolas.

Some women experience that their areolas are too large or differ too much in shapes. An areola reduction surgery is performed in order to reduce the size of the areola in order to give a more proportionate impression. It is common to combine breast augmentation and an areola reduction surgery. In the case of tubular or tuberous breasts, it is also common that you have to undergo a correction of the areola during the breast augmentation. It is also possible to perform an areola reduction surgery as an individual treatment and after the operation there is usually only a scar around the areola itself. Improscar Patch – Circle Ø80 mm covers this scar perfectly and stays on without you having to worry about it. The scar should be treated for at least 3 months and continue as long as the scar responds to the treatment. Treatment for up to a year is recommended.

NOTE! THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SUITABLE IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

– If you have a very active lifestyle including activities that makes you sweat a lot. This can lead to heat rash on the skin where Improscar Patch is situated due to sweat and heat buildup from the workout.

– If you use a high compression garment and/or pressure foam on top of the scar. This can lead to shearing which can result in blisters.

In the above cases we recommend to use one of our silicone based sticks instead.
